Proactive pitching – Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO)

2022, 2023

Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO)

How might we write pitches that resonate for proactive ideas?

ACSO delivers programs to help break the cycle of people repeatedly entering the justice system because they lack the support to make change. Our three-year partnership with ACSO has led to a deep understanding of ACSO’s mission, stakeholders, and objectives demonstrating the value of long-term partnerships.

Knowing the depth of understanding we had for ACSO and government, ACSO engaged rowdy to assist them in writing proactive pitches that would resonate with key decision makers for innovative ideas to State government.

Our approach to writing the pitches included:

  • Stakeholder understanding
We had gained an in-depth understanding of ACSO’s stakeholders, including State government, through years of collaboration and our own experience with government. This knowledge allowed us to tailor our pitches to address their specific needs and priorities.
  • Proactive idea development
Working closely with ACSO, we helped refine and shape their proactive ideas into well-defined pitches that showcased their innovation, effectiveness, and potential impact.
  • Strategic messaging
Drawing on our experience in strategic messaging, we crafted pitches that effectively conveyed ACSO’s value proposition, emphasising the benefits and outcomes of their initiatives for the state government.
  • Data and evidence
We incorporated relevant data, evidence, and success stories from ACSO’s past work to substantiate their pitches, making a compelling case for government support.

Greater value was achieved by:

  • Pitch Success
ACSO’s pitches to State government were met with positive responses, resulting in increased engagement and support.
  • Alignment with priorities
Our tailored messaging ensured that ACSO’s pitches aligned with the priorities and objectives of State government, making them more likely to be accepted.
  • Efficiency
The efficiency of our collaborative process allowed ACSO to streamline their pitch development, saving time and resources while maximising impact.
  • Stakeholder Trust
Our ability to address stakeholders’ needs and concerns demonstrated ACSO’s commitment to collaboration and their understanding of the State government’s perspective.
